Admissions

Admission to St. Joseph’s College is on a highly competitive basis. The students selected are those who have very good academic results and who wish to improve their academic qualifications. The admission criteria for the College’s Intermediate programs are described below.
- Candidates must have passed their Matriculation examination or ‘0’ levels examination in eight (8) subjects or an equivalent examination with minimum 75% marks for admission to Science, 65% for Commerce and a minimum of 55% for admission to Arts and Humanities.
- Candidates must also qualify the College Entrance Test and Interview.
- Candidates must be able to read and write English.
